Father means understanding and stability,
I have always been thankful for your ability,
To always think things through
And knowing just what to do.
Even when I would fly off the deep end,
You were the one
On whom I could depend.
The children could always count on you,
Even now that they are on their own, it's true.
As a father you were and are the best,
More playful, supportive and caring than the rest.
We always have so much fun together,
That our love, for you,
Will continue to grow forever.
Thank you for coming into my life,
Thank you for taking me for your wife,
Thank you for being my children’s father,
Thank you for making me a mother.
You are so loving and caring,
And your life, with us you are sharing.
You are the best.
Unsurpassed by the rest.
We love you.
And know you love us too.
